The best thing so far i found is the ZyXEL WAP3205 v2,TP-Link TL-WA850RE and the Netgear WN2500RP. Which should suit my needs, but i wanted to check with you guys if there's something better out there or maybe even an alternative to range extenders. Whatever you can offer keep in mind i have a tight budget and i don't really need a massive increase in range (10-15 meters or so) but it's important that as little speed is lost as possible.

I have a crappy router (and i can't afford a new, better one) so i think an extender is the only option. Those antennas you can put on your computer won't work, because i need wi-fi for a lot of devices.

Hope you can help and looking forward to your suggestions.

Edit: The Netgear will probably give best performance as it is dual band, but at the moment i'm leaning towards the TP-link because it's cheapest.

Well if you have a crappy router then that is where I would start. For $60 you can get a reasonably good router. Look at the Netgear WNDR3700 (an older but superb router) and the Netgear WNDR3400. Both N600. They can be had used or open box on Amazon for $26+. Start there.
