Hey,
I have a slight problem, I'll be as brief as possible.
I have a motherboard that handles 1333mhz DDR3 as max, and I need to overclock to be able to do so. It's exactly a MSI G41M P-33. And I happen to own a DDR3 1600Mhz memory.
I've found in a store a DDR3 1033 Memory. So here's my question:
Will the 1600Mhz work if I install the 1033mhz first? I heard they will both work at 1033mhz speed, but I need a confirmation.
Thank u in advance. Cheers.

memory dont like to be mix with factory made speed clock.the 1600Mhz may not work or work partially. with errors.

When you mix memory sticks, they will work with the values of the lower one.

If you install one 1600MHz CL9 and a 1066MHz CL8 (no matter which one was first installed), both will work at 1066MHz CL8.

As your motherboard is quite old, there's even a risk that they work in single channel only. I don't know when Intel introduced Flex Memory.

they will run at the lowest speed hope for you that they have the same voltage and timings usualy we do not mix ram to avoid running with issue and bsod .
