Motherboard is asrock z87 extreme 6.

I was going to buy two packs of this ram

Will it perform good ? I know that 8gb is enough for gaming but the empty ram slots in my motherboard are kind of ugly and i would like all of the slots filled with led ram.

Thanks.

Yes,you can buy that.
You will run them at quad-channel,I think there's nothing wrong with that. :)

Actually,I made a mistake,only X79 and X99 mobos support quad channel.
And you can use quad channel memory on dual channel mobo.
You won't lose any performance. :)

It would be preferable to get a single set of 4x4GB or simply get a 2x8GB set (best choice), buying two packages provides no guarantee the two sets will even play together 9and yes I know it's the exact same model), still there are no guarantees - that's why they offer so many different sets, so you can get exactly what you need (and get sticks that have been tested to all play together), a 4stick set may cost a little over 2 two stick sets, but that's because the testing to find 4 sticks that all play together takes longer - also XMP programming is done by the packaged set and 2 sticks can differ from four sticks in the advanced timings i.e. 2x8GB may use a tRFC of 220 where 4x8GB needs a tRFC of 278
