Hi guys,
i recently bought a modified Xeon® E5440 processor for my old LGA775 motherboard and turned it to an extra rendering node for my 3d work. However, i noticed that tempratures shown on different temprature reading apps vary by huge margins. (HWmonitor shows 90c while realtemp showing 80c) however, i don't want to take any extra risk, so i need a cheap but effective cooler suggestion. I only spend 40 bucks on the processor, so i don't want to spend a lot on the cooling too. thanks a lot for your time!
