My daughter updated her IOS to 8 from her iphone5, set password and managed to forget it. I have tried to recover/restore the iphone on recovery mode but all I get is ' iphone could not connect to server ' or iphone can not connect because it is password protected'. Her iphone (which she only bought 3 weeks ago) has never been synchronised to the iTunes on our laptop. And she has not got findiphone installed either.
Could somebody shed some light?
