Hey guys, I want to know if this build can run bf4 and other games like skyrim, bf3, cod ghost, thief, WoW, etc. If it can then what settings will it run on? will the graphics be bearable to look at? And will oc help? cuz i'll do it :D  btw this is only a temp build that i will eventually change within a year or a half.

CPU AMD A4-6320 3.8GHz Dual-Core $41.40
CPU Cooler Cooler Master RR-HT2-28PK-R1 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing $16.99
Motherboard MSI A55M-E33 Micro ATX FM2+ $44.99
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 $49.99
Storage Western Digital RE3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $46.49
Video Card MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB $149.99
Case Deepcool TESSERACT WH ATX Mid Tower $29.99
Power Supply Corsair 430W ATX12V $29.99

Some of these prices are way different when i buy them because i am buying some parts off of eBay. And i may get a 7850

Thanks in advance!

No. Here is why:
1. Extremely low performance CPU
2. Too low for a GPU, a 750ti would be better at that price.
3. The power supply is bad (not really a performance issue as it is a reliability issue and you won't be able to upgrade that much).

I would just save up more, because pretty much everything up there could be swapped out except the RAM which is ok. You would be playing on low settings with a disappointing fps. My preferred price point for Battlefield 4 budget builds generally tends to be around $650 (for a nice experience that is above a console, but this could be lowered if necessary).

Well is there a dual core that can get the job done?

There is a the Pentium g3258 that can be overclocked a lot and is the best CPU under $100, but for Battlefield 4 it may not be amazing (it will still get the job done though). A benefit of the G3258 is that you can upgrade to an i5 later down the road if you so desire. http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G3258-BX8...

At the price of the Pentium g3258 I could get a amd fx quad core...

And have worse performance. $150 for a $100 or less GPU doesn't help you any. As a WoW player, I can already tell you that system will do poorly.

Yes but the quad core FX lines is very poor in terms of performance. Anything CPU choice under a $100, especially for gaming, should be Intel

If you live near a microcenter, then I would probably consider an FX 6300, with a GA-78lmt-usb3 for $90. FX 6300 will do pretty well in BF4, and will be decent enough for the other games you listed too. Throw a coolermaster hyper TX3 on it, and clock it to 3.9-4.0 with just a multiplier bump.

I have a microcenter 1 hour from where i live. how much will the mobo be? or is $90 for them both together?

Holy hell. both are a $90 bundle! i'm getting that next week. Thanks everyone!

I have two of those boards, with an FX 8320 clocked to FX 8350 speeds. They are just fine for low budget FX 6300 build.

It says the MOBO only supports up to 1333 Ram

I am running 2133 in one of mine. I don't remember what speed it is set at, right off hand. Even then 1333 vs 1600 is not going to impact you very much. Anymore, ram speed really only overly affects IGP speed, which you won't be using.

Lol, I would get a more expensive board but for $105 at final price for a amd 6 core and a mobo I think I can manage to keep that board at least for a while until i upgrade. plus, $105 is already pushing my low budget's budget :D

This is probably the most wrong statement I have seen in awhile. The 970a-UD3P is the best 970 board you can buy.

I am not a fan of gigabyte boards for the AMD side. ASUS is much better than gigabyte, especially when it comes to VRM cooling too.

M5a97 only has 4+2 power phase. The 970A-UD3P has 8+2. It is a far superior board as it uses the same power phase setup as the 990fax-UD3, which is easily the best selling 990fx board on Newegg. It has nearly as many reviews as all 3, 990fx, Asus, boards combined.

The 990FXA ud3 boards have vrm overheating issues. I can even prove this because I have this board with an 8350. My friend also has the m5a97 board by the way.

One of the top two reviews on Amazon of the board even says that this board has vrm overheating issues. ASUS and asrock boards tend to be what I teccomebd for AM3+. Even with the revision 4.0 990FXA Ud3, there Ares till heat issues. Do to the amount of issues known with the 990fxa, and with Gigabyte boards in general for am3+, I cannot reccomend them.

I love Asrock's Intel boards, but I would never recommend an Asrock AM3+ board. The 970a-ud3p is still the best 970 board you can buy. You are actually the first person I have seen argue otherwise.

The ASrock extreme 9 is a good board. I was more or less talking about th extreme 9, as I know about that board but not too many other asrock boards for am3+.
