Dead rising 3 performance problems

I am having performance problems and I know that I don't want to 1080p, but is there any way to change resolution because when I use the rendersettings it doesn't actually use it, also can I somehow disable shadows or even with anti aliasing off the game looks really smooth on corners, how can I fully disable it. And is there anything I can download to improve performance or will there be a patch/update soon to optimise better because I can play watch dogs on low-medium with worse mod at a stable 30, rarely drops to 28

Now, I've heard quite a bit about the... problems... this port gets with framerates. You can download DxTory (the video recording software) to put a framerate limit on (30 or 60 recommended), and as long as you make sure not to turn on recording it should give you a little extra performance.

There's also a program called Razer Cortex. It's a special program Razer made to boost performance by finding unimportant processes and closing them whenever you go into a game, then re-opening them as soon as you leave the game.
