Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for Desktop Connection Issue

I have an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for Desktop installed in my tower. I have recently switched routers, and find that the issue I had been experiencing is with the computer, not the router. About once per day, I'll try and use my computer and find the internet is slower than dial-up. It either loads google in 2 minutes, or times out. If I open Task Manager, the Link Speed value for Wireless Network Connection will display 12 Mbps.

If I go to "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections" and disable Wireless Network Connection, and then enable Wireless Network Connection, then when I reconnect to the router, the Link Speed value for Wireless Network Connection is 650 Mbps again. That's of course, the router link speed, but my actual internet connection speed returns to 110 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up again.

I cannot get these results by simply disconnecting and reconnecting to the network, I have to reset the connection through control panel. Can anyone tell me what my issue is, and offer any alternative to resetting my network connection daily through control panel?
