I am building my first gamin PC and these are the parts I have chosen.^
I want to be able to play all games on max settings, along with everyday use. I wont be planning to overclock anything as I don't want to risk breaking anything. (That and I'm a noob when it comes to things like that.)
Are all these parts compatible, and can they do what I want them to do? If you know of any parts that are better or do the same for cheaper, Please let me know. I can't however spend any more then I already am, I'm pushing my budget as it is.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

If you are not going to overclock then you could trim $30 off of your budget going with the Core I7 - 4790 instead of the 4790k.

Just keep in mind that the 4790 runs at 3.6 Ghz instead of 4.0 GHz. However you are still going to get phenomenal performance at 3.6.

You might be able to get by with a less powerful PSU however the $84 for the one you picked is a really good deal. I rather err on the side of too much than too little.

I DO NOT recommend Cooler Master Cases at all due to personal experience I have had with grounding issues. If you perform a Google search you can find other people who had similar experiences with a variety of CM cases. Particularly with the front panel connectors.

I would recommend NZXT or Corsair instead.

Perhaps a NZXT Phantom 530

Overall though you did a great job for your first mock build.

Just check the motherboard compatibility list for the RAM. I recommend GSKILL ram has it has a broad range of compatibility. In 10+ years of building computers I have never had their RAM go bad on me.

I know some will argue against me but I would not hesitate to get Windows 8.1 over Windows 7.
