Hey guys!! I am planning on building a new gaming computer and I want it to have Ethernet for faster speeds!! I just don't know which one to buy.. Their are a lot!!!! I need it to be 30ft at fast speeds for gaming!! Also, if you don't know which one I should buy can you please tell me what I should look for in a Ethernet cable to choose the right one for gaming?? Thanks for all the help!

Cables less than 6 feet are almost no difference in performance - the longer the cable - the Cat5e/Cat6 cables will work better. At 30' - 50' cables, they should almost be the same price - the cat 6 cable would be worth a few extra bucks (not twice the price though....).
The cable makes no difference at all for speed it is the port that controls it. The port will run 10m, 100m, 1g or 10g. There are no other speeds.
A really expensive cat 7 cable can run at 10g but if you hook it to a 100m port it will still only run 100m. Anything cat5e or better is rated to 1g. So you will get 1g unless you plug it into a slower port. Since older cable like cat3 that is rated for 100m is actually more expensive than cat5e there is no reason to buy it even if you only have 100m ports. If you can get lucky and find a cat6a or cat7 cable for the same price you can buy it for the future when you buy a computer and router with 10g interfaces but it will only run at 1g until you buy those devices.
Pretty much buy the cheapest cable you can find...it is unlikely you will even find a cable that is less than cat5e
