Hello,

I've been modding a case for awhile now and I bought a radiator that was too big for the bottom part of my case. so I cannot fit my HDD/SDD's into my case with all my other components. However, I've been looking for a sideways drive bay and I've have no success. I'm curious if I'm not calling it the right name or not.

That is a quick image I made to demonstrate what I'm looking for. But unfortunately I've found nothing.

Please help as I might need to send back several parts and get new ones, I figured I could move it and custom mount it and have room. I need like .5 inch more space because the EK radiator is 64mm wide plus 30mm fans.

Thank you in advanced.

almost all of the hard drives need to be inserted the "traditional way" due to the way the rails work for mounting. My case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129180) has the 3.5" bays "side ways" - but if you notice - they are almost the same size....

I still do not believe thats the case, It makes sense; however, I can see a locking slider like rom drives such as a DVD Drive where you move a slider and it forces the pins through the mounting holes. The same concept could be used here...have a door/latch close and then you slide it to lock it in place. MOST Hdd's out of the 10 cases I've ever owned screwed or locked in with plastic tabs. and the back and fronts were exposed easily allowing it to plugged in. I might phyiscally not exist, but it certainly could work and it would be just as functional as tradition drive bays.
