Just received a Asus Maximus Extreme motherboard and an Intel Q9450. It has 2x2 GB of DDR3 ram and I am running it off my GTX 660. I was told that there were problems with this board so I thought I would try and figure out how to fix it.
I am waiting for my Windows 7 CD so I couldn't make a fresh install on a new harddrive. Instead, I plugged in my SSD from my main computer and tried to use that as the boot device. It got up to the Windows 7 loading screen and stayed there for about 3 seconds, froze, and then gave a BSOD.
The BSOD went by super quick and I couldn't read it. So I just used a video camera and froze it at the BSOD so I could read it. The error was:

I wanted to try with a fresh install of Windows on a new HDD but since I can't do that until tomorrow, I am posting my problem here in the event that it isn't related to this issue.
