Assigned library to drive letter, how do I fix this

So basically, I cloned a hard drive and wanted to move some stuff around. I wanted to move the location of my pictures to another HDD from the old one. I went into location, and meant to set the location to a folder in my F: drive, but instead assigned it to the F: drive itself. Now, the picture library acts like a hard drive instead of a folder, and when I try to reassign the location of the picture library I get, "Failed to build the list of regular subdirectories under "F:\System Volume Information". Access is denied. I can't restore the default location either. It doesn't really break anything, it's just really annoying. I tried to reassign the drive letter to try to then reassign the location, because I figured the path would be broken allowing me to change it. Instead, it won't let me do anything at all it just says it's gone. Any thoughts?

Are there other folders on the "F:\" - possibly ones that you don't have permission to access? (security settings)? You might need to take ownership of all folders on the drive before trying to switch. I have never encountered this before.....

Do you have Windows 7? You can edit the system registry and change the location manually here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\personal (the value needs to be changed from F:\ to F:\Users\Photos (or something similar)).

Windows 8 is here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

I took ownership of everything in F and that seemed to work. Thanks for the help!
