open lan problem

hi i built a pc a couple if months ago and now its flickering off an on whe. i turn it on my mate said its an open lan problem an i have to turn it off how do i turn it off oh an i did you through a lot of threads to see if there was one but none of them were wanting to turn it off
specs

cpu-i7 2600k
mobo-g1.sniper2 lga 1155
ram-4gb 1600mhz
psu-cougar 1000w semi modular
case-aerocool X-predator v3 blackedition

oh an i am using a dongle to connect to the internet if that makes an diffrence

If all of the components are compatible, and you said that you pulled one RAM stick and it booted...I guess you have 2 RAM modules that are each 2 GB? And you booted it with one of them removed, and it worked fine? If that is the case, then you may have an incompatible module or something is messed up.

Did you reset the bios/clear the CMOS?

Are all of the components correctly connected?

I guess you mean a USB internet dongle? For wireless?

If the computer is turning off and on, then will not have anything to do with internet. Try clearing the CMOS/resetting the bios. Make sure all of the components are completely connected correctly too.

all the componenst should be connected but i will make sure and i will buy another 2gb ram stick
and i dont know how to reset the bios/clear the cmos but i will youtube it and if that doesnt work i will tell you and search for more solutions
