The bugger overclocks 43% and scales 88% in SLI and is < $330 !... we have not seen anything like this for a long time. Expect them to be scarce as peeps gobble them up as soon as they get off the trucks ....

Every site I saw they restock for barely 1-2 hours before being sold out again.

How long do you think it will be until this dilemma stops and they are readily available?

Since it's on a 28nm process that's pretty old now, there shouldn't be any yield issues to speak of. So the shortage should not last as long as when the GTX 680 launched.

Anybody have an idea of when restocks usually happen at Newegg? A little while ago, it said the MSI 970 was in stock but it wouldn't let me add one to my cart. Now they are out of stock again...

At the last restock I was able to pick up a card, but the times seem to be random. The 2 restocks I have seen were 3 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon here

Glad you could pick one up. Seems like there's a very small window to grab one at this point. The ASUS and Zotac 970s came back in stock on Newegg about 15-20 minutes ago and the ASUS is back out of stock already. The Zotac is still in stock but I'm holding out for a GIGABYTE or MSI.

EDIT: Managed to order an MSI 970 when they briefly came back in stock at Newegg. They were available for seemingly less than 10 minutes. Now to wait and see when it will actually ship. Hoping to have it for Shadows of Mordor next week.

Yes, it looks like the Guru3D has a HUGE typo on that 1325....

Original GTX 980 This sample Overclocked
Core Clock: 1050 MHz Core Clock: 1325 MHz Core Clock 1501 MHz
Boost Clock: 1178 MHz Boost Clock: 1279 MHz Boost Clock: ~1501 MHz
Memory Clock: 7000 MHz Memory Clock: 7000 MHz Memory Clock: 8002 MHz

Gotta question that Overclocked 1501 too./....Vore and Boost should not be same.
