Hey,

I would really like to get into PC building and have been doing some research. I came up with the following list of components but I am wondering whether or not the components are compatible with each other and looking for any recommendations on how I could make the system perform better for around the same cost.

I have a small apartment so I would like to keep the amount of noise that the pc creates to a minimum so many of the components I choose were keeping that in mind.

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2x8 GB)

I was planning on replacing all the fans with these (including the 2 fans in the CPU cooler, if that would work?: Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 Fan 140mm x 5

Let me know what you think! I was planning on buying this stuff on amazon but would be open to other suggestions for a gaming pc at ~$2k.

Thanks!

i did this for another poster for 2k range but i wouldn't go any further than this its overkill. and you dont need any more fans than the case already has it wont really give you much benefit with 1 video card and good cpu cooler also your power supply is insufficient for the build and for further upgrades down the line.

I wouldnt get dominator platinum, they are really expensive. If you can fit a noctua NH-D15 in there it will probably be quieter than a h110. Those fans are seriously expensive and really not that much of a noise improvement as they run faster. Corsair Af120 quiet editions or normal noctua fans are cheaper and quieter
