Not sure if it's my wireless device stuffing up or my drivers but I currently get 14mbps download (good for Australia haha) with pings of 20, but when I join games the connection constantly drops out for about a second.

I am currently using an USB-N13 ASUS 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter

(ethernet is not a choice)

if someone could help me troubleshoot these issues or recommend to me a wireless adapter for under $80AUS that'd be great :)

Try updating the drivers or update the firmware on the modem. Or change your ISP lol

There have been issues with TP-Link and Windows 8.1 (with the current updates). They make good hardware, but there are a lot of articles out there about problems.....

I'm using a TPlink WDN3200 and W8980 modem/router here. Nothing wrong with it. Only thing you have to do with this adapter is install the drivers for it.

Since the drivers windows 8.1 installs work, but it didn't give me the option to connect to the 5Ghz connection I have here. The TPlink drivers do
