I really don't know much about computers, but I want a new video card and not sure what would be best to get. I have a new Dell Optiplex, and I think just about everything is pretty nice except for the video card which is a Nvidia Geforce 3500, which I want to replace. Would like to use it a little bit for gaming a little. My specs are:

Operating System: Windows 6 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
System Model: Precision WorkStation 490
Bios: Pheonix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 AO8
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU x5355 @ 2.66GHz (8CPUs) ~ 2.7GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
DirectX11

Thank you! If you need any more specs or anything to help me out just ask.
Also, I'm adding an extra 2 gigs of ram so I will have 6 instead of 4, if that changes anything.

For $200-ish, I'd go with an R9 270X, or a 280 if you can catch one on a good sale. That'd be your best performance for the money and run most games in 1080p with just about everything turned up with few hitches.

Some of the newer games that are more demanding I picked up are Resident evil 6, Rome total war 2 and life is feudal (I'm not actually sure how demanding that game is but I can't run it on this).
My budget would be around $100-$200, if that's manageable. I could take it higher but thats where I would be comfortable around.
