Could always be the GPU going out... But crashing and Drivers failing.. i would think thats the Drivers themselves im not sure.. But yeah either the GPU is going out or the PSU isnt supplying enough power.. (dont see how unless its going out too because 550W is PLENTY for a 7770 and i5)

No problem... And they're will be no need to buy a PSU until you find out for sure that it is whats causing the problem.. Its either the GPU or the PSU.. Either one could be going out if your PC is still crashing after new drivers and good temperature. Especially after a format.

If there was a problem with the CPU then your system would crash and freeze all the time... Not just in gaming.. so i believe your CPU is fine.. I want to say its a GPU problem due to the 7770 being kind of old... but then again Cooler master doesn't really make good PSU's.

make sure the mb has the newest bios file and chipset drivers. try using msi after burner to set a fan profile to max your fans out at 50c. and then see if the fans spin up. (on the gpu) and watch the gpu temps. in the bios make sure xmp porifle is on and ram speed is set right with cpu-z. also in the bios make sure the mb running is stock speed not performance.
