Try to plug your PS3 to a display which uses the old RCA yellow cable, and at the same time plug it via HDMI to your LG 22EA53V. Once it shows up on the TV with the RCA Yellow. Go into Settings, Display and change it to HDMI.

Try to completely turn off the PS3 and when you turn on the ps3. Hold the power button down for a little to reset it. Oh and in the settings, I was refering to the PS3s settings
