Has anyone ever encountered a similar problem before?

I currently have google chrome & ie 11 installed on a pc that i use. Everything's working fine & all.
I installed firefox, opera, & safari on this pc & it also worked well without problems.
All of these browsers are of the latest update.

Here's where the problem begins:
When I turn off the pc & use it again (as well as the router) the internet doesn't work anymore.
I think it somehow affects the router (a standard cisco router) & stops internet from working properly.
I've proved this by connecting other devices but the internet doesn't work.
It shows on the pc that there is internet access, & when I open websites it doesn't load any webpages & says it's unable to connect to the internet (chrome) others also give that cannot display the webpage error. The weird thing here is that it can access youtube & toms hardware without problems.

I absolutely have no idea why this is happening but even after rebooting the pc & the router & even hard resetting the router it still has the same problem. I thought this was an ISP problem so I checked with our provider & everything's actually working fine.

After reaching a dead end I thought about uninstalling the browsers (firefox, opera, & safari) & it still doesn't work. internet connection only starts working after i turn off the router for quite some time... like about half an hour. normal off-on resets doesn't bring the internet back up.

This pc uses windows 7 ultimate on an i3 3220 if that helps.
The cisco router's model is DPC2325R2

I really need help with this because i have no idea what's going on but I need to have all those major browsers installed here since this pc is used for web developing.

Thanks in advance

Hi,This is Bharath from India. As you know India has the Crappiest Internet and I can tell you how I fixed problems.

Quick Tip - Did you Try LAN ? I assume you are connected via Wi-Fi

1) Please try Re-connecting every cable on your Wireless Router
2) Switch your Router Off,Take off Every Cable (Including power),Clean their Sockets and Let it be Idle for 20-30 Minutes and Re-plug everything in
3) Hard-reset the Router but it must be connected only to the Power cable,Nothing Else

Next is for PC (Works most of the Time for Me)

1) Shut it Down,Remove every cable OUTSIDE,Take off the Side Panel,Clean It with an Air Blower or Vaccum Cleaner and let it sit Unconnected or 20-30 Minutes in a Clean Room (With AC is Preferrable)

2) While it's sitting,Check every single Cable Inside the PC,Or Simply Reconnect them but While Reconnecting them,Clean the Sockets (Reconnect Inside the PC)

3) Reconnect Every Cable OUTSIDE (Don't forget To Clean Their Sockets)

Turn ON the PC and The Router ON (Windows must show It is connected)

NOTE-DO NOT test it Now !! We still have some steps left !

1) Download Driver Booster Free from iObit and Install them

2) At first Open,It will automatically scan for Outdated Drivers

3) After Searching,It will show the Results and All you have to do is tap 'Update'

It must Work. After all this,They must be Fixed. Please do tell the result after doing all this.Thank you

hey Bharath, thanks for the reply.
we did these basic troubleshooting steps with the rep i spoke with from our isp.
& the pc is connected via ethernet. other wireless devices i tried couldn't connect to the internet but after turning removing those browsers that i installed on the pc & turning off the router for about half an hour, everything starts working again (including the wireless devices)
i'll try using the iObit driver booster if it makes any difference.

do you think installing those browsers does something to the router?
i didn't really change anything physically after installing those browsers. when they stopped working after turning the pc off & then on again that's when it stopped working. i started to do what i had listed above & after that it's when i checked the physical connections & saw no problems. that's when i called our isp & apparently, that's all of the troubleshooting that they can do as well. they really didn't understand the concern i guess but i won't go there.

anyways, i did try them all & i might as well try that driver booster. it'd be nice if it worked.

thanks!

No Problem Sir.I highly suspect Re-Insalling the Browsers will work because It's very wierd that It can acces Youtube and Tom's Hardware. So,There may be a Coding Problem in the Browsers.Never heard anything like that Before ! But anyways Please try that too.Sir,Did You try some of my methods Posted Above ? That Fast ? You can go to Youtube and Check how to make Driver Booster PRO for Free,As it provides Faster Driver Downloads Sir.After all these,They must be Fixed. Please do inform Me after trying all of this,Thank you

Hello. Really sorry for the late reply. i did try your suggestion about the driver booster & i did update all the drivers that were suggested there (a total of 15). after that i rebooted & it freezes up after the desktop loads up. i have no idea which driver update caused it but i didn't have a choice except for a system restore. so that i did, & everything's back to normal.

to give it a fair shot i tried updating the drivers one by one while setting a restore point for each update made. i found out that the desktop freezes with intel z68 express chipset family lpc interface controller - 1c44. i don't know what that does so i decided to not install it. after all this i installed those 3 browsers (opera, firefox, & safari) & rebooted.. & i'm still experiencing the problem with the internet. where that it's showing me that there's internet access & all the browsers can only access youtube & tom's hardware. any other websites i try to access ain't really loading up at all...

did the same thing again uninstalled those 3 browsers & let a few minutes passed & internet's up again. i decided to leave it be since i can't really do anything anymore & i was really stuck. a better compromise was to have it tested at a different device (laptop) & it's working on that. router's not affected in any way as well... a little compromise yes but it gets it done for the one using it.

although i'll still keep looking around for a solution to this. i don't have a lot of time to deal with it... but i just can't get it out of me... next i'm going to try is actually test it on a different router & see if it will also get disabled or something.
