Is it fine to use an 18 inch monitor with a max resolution of 1366x768 to a high end gpu like gtx 780/770/760/970???
Planning to use this monitor TEMPORARY and replace it with a Full HD monitor soon
my friend told me that if I use 18 inch monitor, it might cause a "Screen tearing"

You can use it, but it seems to be a waste of a high end GPU.
