Based on the information of the case and the size of the Evo 212, it will just fit in the case, with 1 mm to spare. It's cutting it REAL close... Your choice if you want to risk it or not.

That is true, but I feel as it would be alright, It won't hinder airflow if he points the fan toward the rear exhaust fan. I had the same issue on my old Ultra Mid-Tower and a PCcoolerSilenx Effizio and it just also, but I didnt notice a increase in heat.

The Vortex and Vortex 4 are the same width and the Vortex 4 supports coolers up to 160mm , so it should fit , but will be close.
