Hi everyone, can you please tell me which configuration will take advantage of GPU for my budget i have in mind two configurations with Amd and Intel

1st
MoBo: GIGABYTE GA-B85M-D3H

Processor: Core i3 4150 3,5 Ghz

I know and i5 is better but, my budget is pretty tight and I want to spend more on my GPU, I know the 4th generation just came out and I think they have cool features like native Pci 3.0, usb 3.0 but I'm a little concerned about new games that requires more than 2 cores like BF4 on multiplayer and upcoming games like The division and GtaV I don't know if it's smart to buy a dual core on 2014 but the i5 are much more expensive

2nd
MoBo: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P

Processor: Amd Fx 6300

I know the i3 4150 has more powerful cores but the amd has 6 cores and maybe for a few or upcoming games that requires more than 2 cores is gonna work better?

The other components are the same I just wanna know which one is better for gaming and cheaper, feel free to recomend me some other proccesors or MoBos thanks everyone

I'm going to cast my vote for the i3. Bear in mind that while many games can use four cores, I can't think of any games where four or more cores are actually required for good performance. By contrast, I can think of many games where an i3 is as fast or faster than an FX-8370, let alone a FX-6300.

Maybe someday those extra cores will mean the difference between 60 FPS and not, but at that point you're gambling on the future at the expense of your performance right now. Besides, an LGA-1150 Core i3 should allow a drop-in upgrade to a Broadwell Core i5 later on.
