Hi I'm having delivery of my 2 evga gtx 980 superclock cards tomorrow and I'm already thinking about sending them back because of the gtx 980 classified card coming out in October as said by evga themselves will it benefit me to get them or just stick with the 2 superclocked 980's is there a huge difference between these two? I can already see the clock speeds are faster on the classified being the Base Clock: 1291 MHz
Boost Clock: 1405 MHz and sc version Base Clock: 1241 MHz
Boost Clock: 1342 MHz and my next purchase is a 4k monitor will the extra £100 or so worth me sending the sc's back and getting the classifieds thanks.

Solution
Performance difference will be next to nothing, they might run a little cooler, but will just blow the air around the case, rather than exhausting it.

Thanks rob for the reply would you say there's a massive difference between these two though? What are the reasons for the classifieds I've never had a classified cards it's just all over the evga forums everybody is saying they're gonna wait for these?

It's good to know someone else is in the same boat it's a tough decision but as robcrezz says they do blow hot air out of the case I have read about this that the classifieds will blow it round the case. And I quite like the look of the sc's versions and there's always the step up programme but with this it's the time your gonna be without the cards sending them back to Germany and paying postage for both ways what I've read. But I've 14 days to send them back day after delivery but as Pyxaon says it's the waiting time involved 6 to 8 weeks but no date.
