Hey Guys,
I've got an Acer SA90 desktop machine currently running an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz E4500, 65mn Conroe CPU with 2GB ram. Its fairly slow, so I'm hoping to upgrade.
I've found the 4GB ram kit so that should be fine however when googling it shows an original option of purchase was a Core 2 Duo 3.8Ghz CPU, but doing a google I cannot find a 3.8 C2D...
Does anyone know the fastest spec CPU I can install?
I've seen E7500 but they are 45mn not 65mn which I don't think will work, so I'm at a bit of a loss to find out which ones are a straight swap?
Any ideas please?
I have found E6850 which is 65mn - 3GHZ/4M/1333
My current is 2.2GHZ/2M/800 so not sure if the E6850 would work?
