Hi guys, I just got myself an ASUS Maximus II Formula to upgrade my old PC. It was cheap and I'll use this to start practicing overclocking and that sort of fun stuff. I just installed it into a very cramped case with the sidepanels open as ventilation. I want to install drivers but can't find legit ones for Windows 8.1 but I have a few Windows 7 licences around and I don't know of a way to downgrade keeping the current programs installed, settings are not that important to me, but keeping them would be nice too. Many thanks already. Any questions to my current config, just ask. I'm quite a capable PC user, so I'll be ready for almost any solution.

Solution
I am surprised you can't find any.
Try using windows 7 drivers that came with the motherboard cd; they should work.

Replacing with windows 7 will probably require a clean install that will require you to reinstall programs.
Settings and files should be easy, export them using windows easy transfer and import them back on the new pc.
