This my build, I wanted to know if anybody had some suggestions before I order it. It seems fine to me, but someone else always has insight of something that could be better. Thanks!

Made some changes. With the current pricing of the R9 290, I can no longer recommend it for gaming. The GTX 970 is a better card, and costs less. Also changed the motherboard, while adding a larger capacity SSD. Overall, the price still comes out less, with better performance.

Whats the difference of having two of them, instead of one. I know we have a total 8gb in video memory but what's the biggest advantage here. Just curious.

SLI will increase performance in games that support it. Most newer titles do. You will be able to run at higher detail settings with less performance loss than you would with a single card. You will will only have 4gb of usable video memory. SLI doesn't double the memory amount, for reasons I am not sure of.
