Hey guys...I made a mistake ordering a power supply that would fit for this case.I originally ordered the Rosewill Capstone 550W. But it's 3mm too long. It's being returned and I will be ordering a different one to go along with my case.

Here is the list. I was looking at something in the 550W-650W range.

a BitFenix Prodigy case is supposed to fit ATX-size PSUs.

Apparently 160mm is the limit for the case. The Capstone is 163mm.

Pretty much any of the Seasonic OEM ones are a safe bet as they tend to be 150-160mm in length (that covers most of the XFX models, the Seasonic M12/S12/G-series, Antec HCG-M and a bunch of others).
I personally don't think a modular PSU is particularly needed in a Prodigy as much as it might be in say an Elite 130 (where the cables will dangle down) due to the significant space within the PSU compartment area in which to tuck cables.
As I mentioned in the other thread, if it's just for a few mm you might be able to solve the problem with some washers but I think you said you'd already found a home for the Capstone.

I would have found a home for it but Newegg is making it easy for me to return it so that's what I'll do. It didnt have to be a modular PSU just that the price was similar and that's why I went that direction.

I have the prodigy and actually used motherboard standoffs to give me some extra room so I could fit my bigger power supply in it (the corsair AX760)
I used 2 stand offs in each place so I have adequate room for cables - Dont forget you need room for the cables to come out of the power supply

Cheers hope this helped

The XFX 550 watt is a great PSU that fits in the Prodigy.
