Do temps matter?

Hi there guys I've just been playing some games with my dual R9 290 Tri-X and was worndering if 75-80C is to hot for these, And do hoter temps mean less living time?

Those Temps are fine. The reference cards usually hit 95C. Too Much Heat is the Number 1 enemy of electronics, but your temps are well within the limits & Your card Should live a long & useful life.

Agree with AlanWakeFan (nice name BTW ;)  ) the temperatures are good.
If you're worried there may be some things you can do to lower them without A; becoming poor, B; requiring an engineering degree.
Those coolers like plenty of fresh, cool air to work well, and a well defined airflow: front lower in, back upper out. Side fans can actually hamper the cooler by driving air in, towards the graphics cooler when it wants to blow hot air out, towards the case side.
You have a very good case and I'm guessing decent fans, but if the fans are not good, strong ones, I suggest you at least swap the front/s for something like the Corsair AF120 Performance Edition, they can be controlled either through BIOS or with a separate fan controller like the Sythe Kaze Master.
