I am having a problem with my computer. It starts normally, but then all of a sudden the screen freezes.

When it freezes, it displays replicated portions of whatever is on the screen at that time. Here is an example of a screenshot

that i took.. Even if i am in the Bios, it would freeze. and display portions of whatever is on the bios.

it is a Compaq presario Q5300F pc, Processor: Amd Sempron le-1300, 2 GB DDR3, 320 Gb Harddrive.....Even when I load mini xp, from hirens, I still get the same problem, I used different monitors, different, vga cables, I resetted the Bios...And still same problem.

How did you get that display to work on that old TRS-80?

(Hint: please provide your full system specifications, including the brand and model of your PSU)

For it to happen in BIOS rules out a driver problem. Reset your BIOS to defaults, which will remove any overclocking. Anything more useful will really need to wait until we know more about your system. How old is it? Did you recently install a new or upgraded part (i.e. did anything change?)

I just updated the info.

Since it does this even before Windows loads, we'll focus on the hardware. That is an older system. Look over the motherboard carefully for bulging or leaking capacitors. You can Google for "bad capacitors" to see some sample images.
Remove and reseat your RAM. What is the brand of the PSU? Is it a Bestec?
