What is your budget for this? You would have to buy a PSU and a GPU for gaming with that old system.

Although the HP Pavilion p6654y you've linked to is not the best of systems, at the same time, it's not the worst of systems I've seen either. You could perhaps if you're willing to, build your own custom system; which should provide better value per performance. If you are not willing to build your own system, that's still not an issue, we can suggest graphics cards. :)

For the record, the motherboard of the HP Pavilion p6654y has a PCI-Express x16 slot for the graphics card; which has been the de facto standard for GPUs for over a decade (albeit the transition from AGP was progressive). Since the motherboard has the PCI-Express slot, you can purchase and install any PCI-Express graphics card; which includes all modern graphics cards. All graphics cards are now sold with PCI-Express x16; so you can plug and play any graphics card of your choice.

If you provide your budget (the amount you're willing to spend), then we can suggest you a graphics card which is ideal and balances price per performance.

All the best. :)

What is your budget for system? The CPU in that system, you chose, is not good enough for today's games.
