Where does my AMD gaming rig rank or should I upgrade?

I have recently built my first PC in years. I have read a lot, but want the community's opinion about my build. I started out thinking budget minded and this is what I came up with... Please let me know...

AMD FX 8350 Black edition 4.0 GHz 8-Core Processor
ASUS ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard
8 GBs Patriot Viper Ram (2x4GB) DDR-3 1600 MHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 (x2) SLi
Thermaltake 1200W ToughPower Grand PSU
Intel 530 Series 280 GB SSD
WD Blue 2 TB 7200 RPM (Storage Drive)
Cooler Master HAF 912 Tower
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (CPU Air Cooler)
Windows 8.1 Pro (64 Bit)

I am seriously thinking of getting the AMD FX9590 CPU, but don't know if the rig I have put together will be good enough for gaming. I'm currently playing WoW, but will be diving into Destiny upon release. Also, what settings will this rig run at, I was looking for High settings, Ultra or Extreme would be awesome. Thanks for the help.

Depending on the game, I imagine SLI 770's will get you past 60 FPS at 1440p and high settings, maybe max settings in some games (I'm estimating based on GTX 690 reviews—SLI 770's should be faster). I would recommend against the FX-9590 unless you really cannot afford just jumping over to an Intel platform. For its 220-watt TDP, the performance is not impressive.

Thanks for the responses... I have looked into Intel, but at the time of building this, I was new to the PC gaming scene (have been a console gamer forever). I looked at the Intel I7 4790k, but couldn't decided what motherboard to pair with it. I like the ASUS ROG boards, although I will probably never use all the features provided. I'm also glad to hear the opinions about the FX9590.

Let me change my question, since I plan on doing a separate Intel build, where does this rig stack up in the AMD scene? I want to keep this build an AMD build.

If you aren't considering a switch to Intel (and you really don't need to for a little while anyway), just stick with your FX-8350. Its more than adequate for most gaming. You can spot differences in the benchmark data, but you'll likely be happy with your performance. At the sort of resolutions/settings your SLI GTX 770's are suited for, you're likely to be GPU-bound anyway.

Short of the FX-9590 monstrosity and the very marginal FX-8370 (both of which are just overclocked versions of the 8350), you're already basically at the top of the AMD ladder.
