Hello, recently I had broken textures in a game, after several attempts I realized it's either my windows either my drivers, so I tried to reinstall the drivers, firstly I uninstalled them then I reinstalled them but during the reinstall I got the error "inf file not found" now my system doesn't want to detect my gpu. I have a sapphire r7 265 dual -x. I tried a clean uninstall but got the same result. Tried reinstalling a few times. The gpu fans are working and the drivers that failed to install are : amd display adapter and hdmi audio. can anyone help me please?

Ok just tried it, after reboot windows auto installs "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", gpu isn't detected by gpu-z or msi afterburner either

and after windows found it you went to windows updates? uninstall that after burner stuff. didn't ruin your card over clocking did you? over clocking really doesn't help anything.

I used afterburner to keep an eye on my gpu status, and no I didn't ruined it, the problem is 100% software. I'll check windows updates now.Hope it works, ty!

Ok! Finally nailed it! I had to manually update it, I'm running 7800 series atm tho. but I heard that r7 series is mostly a rebrand. It shouldn't be a problem right? Also I'll let this here if anyone needs it :
Run the ATI catalyst installer, choose install, and press cancel after it has extracted the driver files to your hard drive. Then in Windows device manager, select "update driver" on your ATI video card, and browse to the extracted driver location, such as C:\AMD\Support\12-4_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF.
