That is why I said looks are decieving. Its not bad, its fine average CPU cooler, more like $25 performance with $75 looks and real V8 noise! I'd get a quieter, more powerful, overall better cooler, just my 2 cents.

The previous model of the V8 cooler is pretty great, but I hear bad things about the new one. Noctua are a sure thing, always quiet and always good.

The older version of the V8 does fairly well on frozencpu's charts. I don't think you will have any regrets if you are going for appearance and decent cooling.

A nice compromise is the Phanteks TC14PE, comes in different colors at least.
