Hiho!
I'm undecided to use Skyn3t BIOS because there are two reasons:
1st. I want to achieve 1100 core clock overclock (941 base) (Yes, I'm using ZOTAC 780 TI OC). Without raising voltage and anything like that I managed to get 1081, and the boost usually reaches 1180-1190.
2nd. Is it worth running Skyn3t BIOS if I just want to get 1100 core clock overclock? I mean I have to get 19 more core clocks to achieve my absolute target so will increased voltage achieve my goal? I also DONT WANT TO overvolt my card. Not to mention that on boost I'm getting 1180 more or less. With 1100 I'll definitely hit 1200 and that's what I want to do.
I don't want to overvolt this card. Is it possible to do so on stock BIOS? I saw people increasing power limit to 106% and voltage by like 60 Mv in MSI Afterburner. Is this really an over-volt or I should be fine? I assume, that I could potentially squeeze those 19 clocks if I actually raise board power limit from 100% to 106% and voltage as well. I also don't want to void my warranty. Thanks in advance!
I'm air cooling everything, but maybe just maybe should I drill another fan slot in my case window opposite my GPU's to pull heat directly from them to make sure that temps stay lower?
Better be safe than sorry I guess. (I run SLI btw.)
Thanks in advance.
