Help with choosing CPU & Ram for HP Compaq

I have an hp compaq PD1087P I would like to add some ram and a CPU to but not exactly sure whats compatible with it. I would really appreciate some help. thanks for you time. It has 1gig of ram already im not sure if I can add another ram stick to it or have to replace it with another. I will post a pic of the information on my computer in a second.

You might be better off saving that money for a new computer since your computer is a bit old. To upgrade the CPU and RAM might cost an additional 30 USD, could cost more depending on where you live.

In the long run, it is better to save your pennies for a few more weeks/months if you're on a very tight budget.

Can you open up part of the computer so you can look at the motherboard? If you have another RAM slot, you can probably add another 1 GB of DDR RAM (I'm guessing your RAM is DDR1)
