Hello all, here is the problem I've been dealing with for some time now and am looking for a fix as well as a reason why this is happening.

I have 2 HIS R9 280X iPower IceQ X² Graphics Cards as well as 3 Acer 23'' H6 Monitors.

I have access to 3 HDMI cords, 1 DVI cord, 2 Mini Display Adapters.

Below is a picture of the cards in my PC a well as the way the monitors are plugged in.

And the back of the monitor (same for all 3)

And the error I get when trying to display across all 3 monitors.

I have tried with and without crossfire enabled, using different inputs for different monitors, and have resorted to using the second card to prove theory that the triple monitor setup is possible...

HOWEVER, I need for all monitors to be connected to the primary card so that I may crossfire for additional resources when needed and so I can create an Eyefinity display group to have triple monitor gaming experience (because that's the only reason I bought 3 expensive monitors and a beast PC)

The BIGGEST part to note about all of this is that I WAS able to have this set up the other day and working perfectly fine... the catch was when I disabled crossfire on my primary card, the display crashed and I had to hard cycle the PC.

The fix to get this working the second time was for me to simply repetativly change the desktop setup from converging monitors and extending them until for some reason it worked.

That fix did not work a third time bringing me to where I am now.

I am open to all suggestions and advice as long as it is productive towards the end goal...

-3 monitors through one card
-Ability to disable crossfire and enable it as I please
-Able to enable and disable an Eyefinity display group across all monitors

Thank you in advance to whoever finds the solution.

EDIT 1 -

If the issue is with the display adapters being passive instead of active, please recommend a, active adapter from Mini Display to HDMI that is reasonably priced and can get to upstate NY quickly (preferably through amazon)

EDIT 2 -

I just bought 2 ACTIVE adapters from MDP to HDMI from StarTech to try to fix this issue... No luck, I am sending a request for assistance to AMD to hopefully find a fix. ...Still open to suggestions!
