Looking for affordable(300$) gaming upgrade

Didn't really changed anything for like last 5-6 months, hoped something in market will change like new more cost effective parts, or some nice price drops,yeah..my dreams didn't came true so meh.. there's some events ahead here which I wouldn't talk specifically about but before it comes (~ 3 months left) gotta prepare and get my PC done and smoothly working, don't guide me into tutorials, explain some theories or toss outrageous suggestions like getting entirely new rig. I just wanna get it done and get it done playable

there's pretty much 2 options here for me: AMD CPU+new case+new motherboard+new cooler or Intel CPU.Prices here of both options are pretty much the same, can vary on which parts chosen ofc, anyway you know my current rig seems pretty disbalanced etc, from lasttime I was here didnt changed a thing in case anybody forgot here it is again:

A1016 HEDY case, with some strange sounds coming from it frequently, tenths of times a day, very annoying, thats why consider changing it, btw its mATX format so eh, no fans or any fancy stuff too, most basic box you can get, whats really annoying wires are very tight and case is too short on width to properly close.
500GB 7200RPM Seagate HDD ,probably only component of which I never had any issues yet after all these years,we became great friends, probably ain't gonna change it(yeah I know the SSD speed, durability,no moving parts..etc.. long story you guys tell to newbies, which I am not,I am true fully grown noob, ofcourse yeah you'd keep pulling me to spend some 100$ on SSD,get laid,I meant uhm,RAID)
GIGABYTE H61M-S2-B3 motherboard Heard shitload of suggestions to upgrade it, since yeah its mATX and getting parts together gets tight, yeah its VRMs are well you know sorry behind em,phases yeah you know story behnd em, it also aint have SATA III, SATA II offers measly 3GB/s,also its already up here running for like 3 years,no rust but some dust around it,yeah I know get compressed air.. if it would be sold here ffs..
ASUS GTX 750 Ti OC Graphics Card bought it 6 mnoths ago so aint gonna replace, it should be fine for some gaming at 1920X1080, i dont expect playing anything on ultra ofc, got a question about it too, is iit fine to overclock already stock OC'ed card? I mean like light overclock without changing voltage, or double overclock is something to be afraid about?
8GB RAM stick Crucial Sport 1866MHz sure I get a lot crap to buy second stick, just that would cost quite a bit, leave me with 16GB,while 8 is perfectly fine for likely any game already, make me harder to get around my rig, it's already crowded, one of the reasons ive picked single stick besides it would provide unnoticable perforamnce increase of like 1-2FPS..aint worth the money.
ZM700-GLX 700W PSU 80+ It has a tale of it's own which would take up twice as much as I've already written, ain't think anyone would be interested to listen, ain't gonna change it for the next 5-10 years, bought these year anyway.
i3-2100 3.1GHz dual-core CPU This little guy is guilty of all the shit which happenned in my life, I am certainly changing it acquired over 2 and a half years ago, too expensive for grannies reading newspapers online, too poor performing for multitasking or multiplayer gaming. It doesn't have place in this world, engineer which designed it is the new antichrist. It is also definetly bottlenecking my rig it seems.

sure you'd say for 300$ I could get i5 and could have leftover for some more parts,ha prices are higher my way, cheapest i5 the i5-3350P here goes for 215$, cheapest 4th gen i5-4430 goes for 220$,in short-expensive as fuck, mind in my wage/month IS 300$( actually almost 400$ but after taxes like 150$ somewhat left)!!Long background life story would follow again ain't think anyones interested.Toss in the most cost effective suggestions you can,sue I might (MIGHT) be willing to go a bit over the 300$ bar, just because stuff pricier here..Been planning to OC before but eh, need a need motherboard, cooler and AMD CPU then since intel K series are off limits for all but the filthy rich ones in my place(also known as bastards middle-classians).

AMD offers excellent prices which caressing heart for guys like me, whether its fx-6300,fx-8320E or Athlon II X4 860K,just read and heard such horrible stuff about their outdated technology, poor single threaded performance(ain't playing single-threaded games myself) though heard in multiplayer FX beats the shit out scammer's choice i3's and even competes with lower end i5..agian many different opinions..got confused in vortex of em.

Yeah odd that for osme reason tom's hardware favors i3's heavily, yeah they're fine for some 2011-2012 single player games etc.. but when it comes to full multiplayer right now, it just screws hardly, moreover doesnt matter I got for high or low graphical settings, gaming performance is pretty much the same, while standing everything's fine, in middle of action.. sick 20-50 FPS,and those are the moments you NEED the FPS most.It hinders my gaming performance and enjoyment of games in general severly. Also in 2013-2014 games even in single player i see my i3 bottlenecking as hell, I bet soon enough I wont be able to play anything more serious, thats why rushing for upgrade.
