Hello Everyone,
My company has an issue, and I have been trying to figure it out for weeks now.
The problem is that at random a user's computer will not be able to print to a certain printer, yet everyone else will be able to print from that printer. I try printing from a variety of programs and I always get an error in each one so the user will not be able to print to a certain printer (we have 2 of them. Xerox 7775 Work Centre. One North and One South of our building). Its weird because if I can't print from one printer, I can print from the other. We have over 100 users, and at random it happens to 2-3 users a day. It forces the users to walk to the other side of the building to print from the printer that works, while the other printer doesn't. The solution I found was to go into cmd prompt as admin and net stop/start spooler which resets the spooler. It works after that, and the user can print from both printers. Its not a permanent solution though. Does anyone have any kind of knowledge with this issue. Or a solution? Can it be the print server?
