Hi,

I pushed my DRAM to 1866MHz with 1.55v. But my experience with DRAM timings is absolutely zero. Or well, I know my original values are 9-9-9-24... Anyways,

I got 2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB single modules they got the same modelNo, but the tRC differs. Its 41 on the first, and 33 on the second. Dno if that matters...

Current setup:
NB Freq: 2400MHz
~934MHz Dual-Channel [1866MHz]
FSB:D RAM - 3:14 I think that's the FSB-DRAM ratio...
11-11-11-28
tRC - 45

So.. Is the setup good, or is it way outta line?

There has been many benchmarks on memory speed, it's NOT going to make any difference. Run it at DEFAULT settings.

Wow, really? Alright, then I run it at 1600MHz with 1.50v and 9-9-9-24

Btw, I usually set 9-9-9-24 part manually, rest I leave on Auto in BIOS. But the timings doesnt match eachother, they arent the same. Differs about 1-4 values on each timing clock.. Is this OK, or should I set everything manually? Cuz I have no idea what those should be...

For 1866 try 10-10-10-27, 1.565 or so, think you are looking at the SPD values where you see different timings as all DRAM in the system actually runs at the same timings, if the SPD info differs it's probably one is older than the stick. Having the latest BIOS will help. And 1866 provides more bandwidth so there will be a slight performance increase, even in gaming may pick up a few FPS ;)

Now it feels like you thinks im a fool.. :p  No, i am definately not looking at the SPD, as SPD doesnt show the active DRAM timings, only which values that are tested/supported on that module. And as stated, my two RAM modules have different tRC in SPD. 33 and 41.

But! In BIOS, in DRAM Timings page, every value isnt matching. Most of it matches with eachother. I have manually configured it to be 9-9-9-24 and tRC at 33. Rest is left on auto. And they arent matching..

Slot#2 DRAM READ to PRE time - 5, while Slot#4 is 6 and so on..I know this might be very confusing, but I hope I made myself clear, in hope for someone to aid me :)

And im not going with 1866 anymore, as computertech82 said "Memory speed is NOT going to make any difference". so then I'll just run it at 1600MHz instead. Please help me :)  I need someone to tell me like FULL timing setup (Except 9-9-9-24), cuz I dont know shit about that, but I do know that they should match, lol..
