Live in full Metal, RV no signal from PCI Adapter Linksys WMP600N inside the RV. Took PC outside last week, card works great, good to excellent reception. Linksys Support says need 2 Antenna's outside, any brand will work. I want to try Coaxial cable w/SMA connectors, enclose 2 rubber duckies(stock) antenna's in waterproof box, run Antenna's w/extension cables from outside to wireless card for WiFi AP access...? Can't run PC outside if its raining out.....Temporarily using USB adapter up in the roof vent, rain's gets wet, and it burns up... PC is Gigabyte Mobo, AMD APU, 8GB DDR3 memory, Windows 7 64-bit SP/1, Linksys WMP600N PCI Wireless Adapter w/ralink RT2860 drivers-latest.

You loose alot of signal in the COAX you are talking about using. There is some expensive low loss COAX but it usually is not worth the cost. Often times you loose more signal in the COAX than you are gaining from the antenna. I would use a purpose built outdoor antenna system. I am familiar with Ubiquiti products so I would suggest a Ubiquiti Nanostation Loco M2 mounted on the outside of your RV with an ethernet wire running back into your RV where you can either plug it directly into your computers ethernet port, or you can plug it into a wireless router or AP in your RV (for wireless devices to have access).
