Windows does not show 2 tb hard drive on "My computer"?

I had to pull the sata cable for the HDD as I was installing windows on my new Intel 730 ssd and when I check my computer the HDD is not present but it is recognized under the device manager.

How to fix this problem?

Sounds to me the drive is no longer in a Windows recognizable storage format. If you have your windows disc, boot off it. Then go to the advanced settings, delete the HDD from the drives present, then it should appear as "unallocated space" or something similar, then click new, then click ok. Warning though, any data on the HDD will be lost.

The HDD is not present in the BIOS or is it not showing up in Windows Explorer? What do you see if you look at the drive in Disk Management (not the same as Device Manager)?

Most probably you should assign a letter to your drive. You can check whether you have one when you go to Disk Management. If that is the case you can check out the following link: http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/137

Right click My Computer -> click Manage -> expand Storage -> click Disk Management.
Take a screen shot of that and upload it here.
