I have a internally shorted 32gb sd card that is now leaving the recovery image facility on it's way back to me. I have no idea as to what to do next, but I am looking for suggestions as to what if anything can be done. The images are of 10 fantastic days at yositite national park.several are time exposures that just seem to come out right!
Thanks for your help!
Dave

First, who or what is "recovery image facility "

Are you saying they couldn't recover anything?

Was this a high level recovery service?

The facility was San disc RescuePRO file recovery Service. This is the place Sandisc recommends, and nothing else. The tech left me an e mail today, informing me that the disc is internally shorted and the will be sending this back to me. NO IMAGES COULD BE RECOVERED!

I read the info on their sight, and they clam to be a full service facility, meaning they can rebuild drives.

Not sure if you can rebuild SD cards.

I would call or e-mail them, an find out.

If SD cards can't be rebuilt, or repaired, there is nothing you can do.

Backup is so important.

Whatever that company can do or did is almost certainly far more effective than what you can do yourself.
If they say they can't find anything, you have two options:

Find another company to try
or
Live with the loss of the pics
