Hi, i have been planning this build for a very long time updating it now and again and now im finaly ready to get it, i would just like to know if anyone sees anything that's problematic or something that can be better for gaming for around the same price. Please let me know and tell me why in detail Thanks! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fzb9nQ

Solution
1. The i7 is a great CPU but if you want to game only an i5 will do the same thing with very little (1-2) fps difference.
2. The mobo is good but it you coukd upgrade to an mpower z97 from MSI it has better features and has 12 phase power for the cpu. (You dont have to)
3. If your case can fit a 280mm rad i would recommend the nepton 280l. It is one of if not the best AIO water coolers out there. If you can afford it i would get the nepton 140xl over the h80i just because of personal preference and performance.
4. I would recommend upgrading to an aftermarket cooler for the 980. You dont have to but i would personally prefer one because it is much quieter and can be cooler if you have good airflow. (Reference blower sucks in air and...

(Reference blower sucks in air and exhausts it out the back but aftermarket coolers just swish the hot air back into your case)
Other than that the build is solid. (You could afford to get 8gb of ram if you only game and dont video edit / render )

How much of an overclock are you planning?

If not much and just going for a little extra performance - I'd stay away from the water coolers. But that is just me, I prefer cheaper/slightly warmer temps and no risk of water leaks over the bragging rights that I have a watercooled setup with lower temps (and less $ in my pocket). YMMV

A GTX980 runs on such low power that aftermarket cooling is not necessary.
