Alright, today I received a graphics card I bought (GTX 750 Ti) and I simply can't get it to fit into the PCIE x16 slot. I have an HP Envy 700-327c. I've never installed a graphics carsa before, but I watched a handful of videos explaining how to do so.
Some pictures that kind of explain my issue:

and, another picture showing the inside of my computer.

Thanks for any help offered, I've been waiting to get a new graphics card and I'm dying to be able to use this one.

Solution
yes, push down on that plastic tab so that it sits at a 45-degree angle before trying to insert the card into the slot. That seems to be the piece that is blocking your GPU from being seated.

I think the yellow thing you are seeing (left bottom corner of the card?) is part of the card. Its what secures the card to the mobo... could be wrong?

oh, you're right -

The tab that the yellow thing is resting on needs to be down before you can plug the GPU in, sorry. It's just like the tabs on the side of the RAM, you need to pop them down before you can seat your GPU.

so you flip the tab or slide the tab that keeps the back of the card held in. then you slip the graphics card in the slot..... carefully making sure the tab on the front end ( back of card that fits at back of machine............) goes between the motherboard and the case. mildly push ( insert ) the graphics card into the slot. put screw in hole to hold card in place........ flip tab at back or slide the tab back over the rear of the card. hook monitor to card. boot.

Was just going to ask that lol...

make sure the metal blocker is removed. Some cards require you remove 2 blocks.

Also, there is a metal tab that will slide past your mother board on the side that is closes to the back of the case. If this tab does not move past your case something is wrong.

Also -- I already have the metal part from the back out, my carpet just made it look like they were still there, lol

I don't deserve to own a computer.
Thank you SO much, I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Now I just have to get the back metal things to align, and I'll be all set.
THANK YOU.
