Hello, I recently put a Noctua NF-F12 on my cooler because my old one was rattling. I removed some adhesive that covered the screws. So, because I had no other adhesive, I used the same adhesive that I had peeled off. Is this okay? They were still kind of sticky and I had to use an okay amount of force to peel them a bit. Will they stay on? And if they don't, will my computer/CPU/cooler be harmed? Thanks so much for any replies.

I don't know, the brackets had adhesive foam tape over each of the screws.

hyper 212, and this foam adhesive covers the screwhead, you screw the bracket into the fan itself

You will be fine. as soon as the adhesive gets warm it will stick very well.
The adhesive foam is an anti vibration protection.
It keeps the mounting clip bracket from rattling and vibrating against the fins.
