This is my first post here, so hello everyone!
I've finally decided to build a computer and need some advice on parts and compatibility. I'm looking to keep this about or below $500, as I'm on a low budget.

Here's the build:
Full Build: View on PC Part Picker

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor -$80
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS5X Performa CPU Cooler -$17
Motherboard: Asus A88XM-E Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard -$53
Video: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB -$110
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 -$80
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive -$55
Case: Fractal Design Core 1100 MicroATX Mini Tower Case -$40
Power: Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply -$30

Total Cost ~$465
($480 with shipping)

I used THIS article on this website as somewhat of a guideline if that helps. I did my best to research which items were compatible and not obsolete for an affordable gaming build. I went with the FM2 socket build for CPU/Mobo (and just now realized the mobo is FM2+ not sure if that's a problem). I'm trying to fit it in a Mini Tower as well (I'm not too worried about size/appearance if I'd have to change anything). I would be looking to use the computer for medium-end gaming such as BF2, DayZ, CS:GO and multitasking programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and SublimeText.

A few personal questions:
Will this computer work?
Is the motherboard large enough?
Will the parts fit in a Mini Tower (video card, hard drive, etc.)?
Are there any modifications that would greatly improve performance for a small increase in price?
Are there any modifications that would greatly reduce cost with a small decrease in performance?
Any personal suggestions?

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

This wont run dayz. Dayz is a very poorly optimised game and you dont even have a gpu in there. I recommend saving up another 300 dollars and then getting better stuff, I bought a pre built for 600 dollars and i hated it. I spent 1500 dollars on a new build, built it myself and it was totally worth saving for.

Your proposed setup would not even be good for "low-end gaming" since it has no GPU. You could probably play a game like Minecraft or some Facebook games, but any modern, classifiable as "medium to high-end" games would not run acceptably on such a system.
