gigabyte's website states it can use ONLY 1333Mhz 204 Pin SO-DIMM kingston states it's compatible with it's Kingston Impact 1600-1866mhz 204 Pin SO-DIMM so im wanting to know which is better to go with it's a new board and i don't even have HDD or MEM for it yet so im curious which should i lean more towards the official website or kingston website memory finder ( and it said it was compatible with 1866-1600-1333 ) even the website says 1866 - 1600 - 1333 here's the link for the manual it states ddr3/ddr3l 1333mhz ( http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-j1800n-d2h_e.pdf ) here's the MEM compatibility list link http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-j1800n-d2h.pdf if there's anyone that can shed light on this i would appreciate it very much before i buy the wrong memory ( also the voltage has to be 1.35v )

Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer some clarification. The recommended parts that will work for the GA-J1800N-D2H are KVR16LS11/4 and KVR16LS11S6/2, these are DDR3L-1600 modules that will clock down to the default speed of the system. The HyperX Impact memory recommended since it is generally compatible with the motherboard's chipset, they are plug-n-play modules ranging from DDR3L-1333 to DDR3L-1866 and will run at the highest speed supported by the system when connected. If you want to be sure of compatibility it would be best to go with the baseline memory KVR16LS11/4 and not the HyperX Impact memory. For any further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm...
