Hi guys,
Today I added to my computer a EVGA GTX 750 Ti. I have to note that my computer has two partitions, one used for Windows 7 and the another for Windows XP. Every time we turn on the machine, we can decide which system has to boot.
Like I was saying, I installed the card. Video output was good. Windows 7 recognized the card as Standard VGA card (see here), along with the HD graphics.
I inserted the disk and I installed Nvidia 334.89 drivers. It told me to restart. I did it, and after the Loading Windows screen, screen just went black. Sometimes it appears like it doesn't has video at all, and sometimes the monitor shows 'no signal' box.
You may say it's a problem with the graphics card -actually, is what I thought at first- but as this problem was going on and on, I decided to install the card on XP. No problems at all. With the same drivers.
So it's clearly not a hardware problem. The computer works correctly in Safe Mode (I'm talking about Win7), it recognizes the card (see here), but as the computer is in safe mode, it's using basic and limited drivers.
I tried a lot of things. Disabling the card, going into BIOS and disabling the on-board graphics, uninstalling drivers and installing them again. Nothing worked at all.
Tell me something I should do. I may have to re-install the system, or try installing Windows 8, or something? If that's a posibility, make it the last, please, the process of backing up everything it's frustrating and tedious for me.
Oh, and if you need them, these are my specs:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz (Sandy Bridge 32nm)
RAM: 4,00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 (2 modules)
Motherboard: Intel Corporation DH61CR (LGA1155) BIOS BEH6110H.86A.0016.2011.0118.1128

Thank you, and sorry if my english is not totally correct. You may note it.

Unfortunately it does sound like a software issue, given where the black screens are occurring. I would recommend booting into safe mode. Open My Computer, C drive and then delete the Nvidia folder. Then open program files folder and delete the Nvidia Corporation folder, empty your recycle bin and restart the system. I would the suggest installing the latest driver for your video card and OS: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/340.52/340.52-desktop-winxp-32bit-english.exe. During the install process select customer and then check the preform a clean install.

is there a reason that you need to continue having Windows XP?

Even uninstalling the driver on Win7 didn't allow you to load Win7?
If you are able to uninstall the driver on Win7, then install the latest driver rather than that terribly outdated one (download from http://www.geforce.com/drivers)

Er, my dad is not used to Windows 7. And in this moment, Windows XP helped me to know this was a software problem, so :))
I am able to install the driver, the problem is that after installing the driver and restarting, I can't see my computer's screen (unless I enter in Safe Mode)
